Intimate and Classic Wedding at Sedona’s Chapel at Tlaquepaque

Posted on April 30, 2019 by Editor

It was a cold Sedona day this November, but it didn’t stop Eric and Anna on their wedding day! The bridal party started out the day by getting ready at two separate Airbnb rentals in Sedona. Eric and Anna wanted a more traditional ceremony, and through respecting tradition she waited for Eric to see her for the first time on their wedding day until she walked down the aisle to marry him. The emotion from this moment was palpable in the gorgeous little chapel the two tied the knot in. Tears and laughs were shared between the couple as they vowed to love each other “as long as they both shall live.” Afterwards, the couple thanked each guest for coming and shared a warm hug with those they love most. Eric and Anna celebrated their new marriage surrounded by their closest friends and family as they shared toasts, dinner, dancing, and of course cake! Anna and Eric showed their love for each other, their friends and family, and even for their vendors throughout the entire day. This love can be seen in the smiles, laughs, and beautiful moments captured throughout their big day.

Anna and Eric decided that day-of wedding photos were not enough and wanted to hike into the Sedona wilderness in the following months to capture more of their love in their wedding attire. This specific spot in Sedona was very special to them for their bridal images because they had hiked to this spot together while they were just dating. Anna told me that while she was watching the sun set from this same spot, her and Eric dreamed about one day getting married and starting their life together. Anna knew that she had to come back to capture this fond memory in photographs to remember the significance of this spot during this time in their lives.

“Jessie (their wedding photographer) was an absolutely amazing photographer for our Sedona wedding! She was so accommodating and pleasant to work with; she never failed to put our wants and vision first! We were completely blown away by the gorgeous photos that she produced from our wedding day…sometimes I cannot even believe that the pictures are of us they look so amazing! I know that my husband and I appreciate her efforts tremendously especially on such a cold evening!”
